Upperchurch Drombane caused an upset last night after they knocked out reigning champions Loughmore Castleiney in the Ragg.
A brace of first half goals from Loughlin Ryan and a third from Paul Shanahan saw the Church go in 3-9 to 0-9 ahead at the break.
They continued in the same vein in the second half and ran out 3-21 to 0-20 winners.
They will play the winners of Thurles Sarsfields and Holycross Ballycahill in next Sunday’s Mid final- their 3rd in 9 years
