Toomevara are looking to make it back to a county senior hurling semi-final this weekend.
The greyhounds lost out at the last four stage last year and take on JK Brackens in FBD Semple Stadium in their quarter-final tie at 5pm on Saturday.
The North Tipp side topped group one following wins over Drom-Inch and Kilruane MacDonaghs.
Manager Ken Dunne feels both sides will fancy it this weekend:
“I’d say JK Brackens were absolutely delighted to get us, all the teams that finished second in their group that could get us would’ve liked to have gotten us and I’d say Brackens are delighted.
“It’s an okay draw for us too, it’s a fifty-fifty game.
“Brackens have been impressive so far barring the last day where they were missing three or four very important players and they were guaranteed to go through so maybe eased off the pedal a bit so we have to be very careful on that front.
“They’ve been putting up big scores, against Templederry and Clonoulty they put big scores up.
“They’ve been really strong in the first half of their games so we need to match them early on in the game and see if we can get on top of them then in the second half.”
