Tipperary Camogie star, Clodagh Quirke, hoping league final will eventually be played

Clodagh Quirke speaking to Tipp FM in recent years.
Tipperary camogie player Clodagh Quirke says she’s hoping the Premier County won’t miss out on playing in the league final.

Tipp beat All-Ireland champions Galway to reach the decider before all matches were halted.

She says the thought of the final not going ahead is difficult:

“Obviously it was a great buzz to get over the line with Galway and we were kind of looking forward to getting back training after that and preparing for the league final.
“Now there’s just a lot of uncertainty as to when or if the league will even go ahead. I know everyone’s in the same boat but there’s obviously a lot of other games to be played on the other side and it’s just the uncertainty of when we’ll be back training collectively and if the match will even get to be played at this stage.

“So yes, it’s tough because we obviously haven’t been in a league final for a long time.”
