Tipp Sinn Fein Deputy denies claims of party bullying

A Tipperary Sinn Fein representative has denied there is any bullying within the party in the Premier County.

It comes as a number of Sinn Féin members who feel disaffected by the party gathered in Waterford on Saturday to share their grievances about alleged intimidation and bullying.

Nenagh based Councillor Seamie Morris has spoken out strongly on the issue with allegations of a smear campaign against him.

Other party members from across the country have also come forward with allegations of similar treatment.

Speaking on Tipp Today Cashel based Sinn Fein Councillor Martin Browne said he wasn’t aware of the meeting taking place.

However he said the party was dealing with these complaints in the proper way.
