A Tipperary based company has secured a two million Euro contract with Aldi to supply their UK stores.
Oakpark Foods will create 20 new jobs as a result of the deal which will see them export its Maple Back and Honey Back Rashers for sale exclusively in 700 Aldi UK stores.
The Cahir based company has supplied Aldi Ireland since 2012 – they now provide 40 pork and bacon products to the 129 Irish stores.
Part of the Brett Group, Oakpark Foods employs just under one hundred full-time staff.
