12 Irish players are expected to be named in the Lions squad to tour New Zealand today.

In the forwards Nenagh’s Donnacha Ryan, Rory Best, Iain Henderson, Jack Mc Grath, Tadhg Furlong, Peter O’Mahony, CJ Stander, and Sean O’Brien are all expected to get the call while in the backs Connor Murray, Johnny Sexton, Keith Earls and Robbie Henshaw should all be included.
Cian Healy and Jamie Heaslip could miss out.
Sam Warburton is expected to captain the side.
