Tipperary Fire & Rescue are reminding people of the danger of forest fires this weekend.
With the easing of Covid-19 restrictions now allowing people to travel 5 kilometres from home for exercise it potentially allows large numbers to visit the Premier County’s woodlands and mountain areas.
Assistant Chief Fire Officer in Tipperary Carol Kennedy says this brings potential risks given the fine weather we’ve had of late.
