It’s claimed extending the opening season at the Swiss Cottage in Cahir will pay for itself.
OPW Minister Kevin Boxer Moran has agreed to allow the tourist attraction on the banks of the Suir to open from March 16th until after the Halloween mid-term in 2018.
Local Councillor Andy Moloney met with Minister Moran in Dublin yesterday to push for changes.
He says the figures speak for themselves.
