Five Tipp players in team of the year as Murray named Minor player of the year

A Tipperary player has been named as the Electric Ireland Minor Star Hurling Player of the Year.

Thurles Sarsfields’ Euan Murray won the award following his stellar performances fro the All-Ireland minor winning Tipperary team.

Murray, who’s eligible for the minor grade next year, scored 1-04 in the All-Ireland semi-final and scored four points against Kilkenny in the decider.

The Thurles youngster was one of five Tipp players named in the 2024 Electric Ireland Hurling Minor Star Team of the Year.

Tipp captain Cathal O’Reilly, Tiarnan Ryan, Billy O’Brien and Cillian Minogue were all included in the team of the year.
