The number of planning applications coming before Tipperary County Council has shown a marked increase in recent years.
Last year there was an 18% rise in the number of permissions sought from the local authority while from 2014 to 2018 the figures have almost doubled.
However Senior Planner with Tipperary County Council Brian Beck says planning applications for housing estates are still slow.
