The Tipperary Roads Policing Unit seized a car in the Killenaule area yesterday.
Following an ANPR alert for no insurance, the driver was found to have held a learner’s permit for close to 35 years that expired a number of years ago.
It was also found that the car was uninsured and without tax.
The car was subsequently seized, and the driver is expected to appear in court.
