33 jobs are to go at An Post in Tipperary next month.
As part of the company’s cost cutting plans they are letting a total of 319 staff go in December.
In all 2,000 will be let go between now and 2020.
A number of smaller Post Offices are under threat in the Premier County with the Terryglass outlet already closed.
Deputy Michael Lowry says this latest step by An Post will hit staff right across the county.
