Tipperary County Council considering grant scheme for rain water harvesting

There’s good news for the climate conscious in Tipperary.

Tipperary County Council are to approach Irish Water about implementing a grant scheme for rain water harvesting systems.

The motion was brought by Councillor Andy Moloney who felt this was a necessary measure in the battle against climate change.

The Cahir councillor said this could be in the form of a reduction in the price of a new connection or a credit on billed metering.
