Angels’ plot in Roscrea should be preserved

 

Sean Ross Abbey was used as a mother and baby home for many years
where single mothers were housed before and after they gave birth.

Usually those babies were given up for adoption.

A woman who was adopted from there says the sale should not proceed in its current form.

Colette Chambers says its important that what went on there is remembered.

In particular, she says the plot where unnamed babies are buried
should be excluded from any sale:
