Carrick on Suir’s Michael O’Loughlin has taken Under 23 Gold at the National Time Trial championship championships.
The Team Wiggins rider was over a minute clear of his nearest challenger in the 34 kilometre individual effort in Wexford last evening.
He will now attempt to defend his Under 23 Road Race title on Sunday.
Meanwhile Drombane’s Peter Ryan and Dermot Radford of Tipperary Wheelers took silver in the tandem time trial.
