West Brom manager Steve Clarke says Tipperary's Shane Long missed Saturdays draw with Fulham due to injury and remains a doubt for next weeks meeting with Sunderland.
Clarke says the Gortnahoe native picked up the injury on duty with Ireland.
Long who almost moved to Hull on the last day of the transfer window featured in all of the Baggies games so far up to last Saturday.
West Brom would not let him go as they could not secure the services of Romelu Lukaku who they wanted to bring back on a loan deal.
Clarke spoke briefly with reporters about Long following Saturdays draw.
