Tipp bowed out of the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi final to reigning champions Cork yesterday evening at Semple Stadium on a 0-21 to 0-9 scoreline.

Cork led by three at the half way stage with Cait Devane scorer in chief in the first half for Tipp with Grace O Brien chipping in with a good point before the break leaving Cork ahead on an 0-9 to 0-6 scoreline.

Tipp fought valiantly against a strong Cork side in the second half who pushed ahead in the closing stages with Orla Cotter and Chloe Sigerson to the fore.

After the game Tipp manager Bill Mullaney told Tipp FM Sport he was proud of his charges.

Tipp FM caught up with Senior Camogie selector, Niamh Lillis, who, despite the loss, was optimistic for the future of Tipp Camogie.
