Tipp team announced for vital Dublin clash

There are a number of changes to the Tipperary team to face Dublin in this Sundays National Hurling League clash at Semple Stadium.

In all there are four changes from the side which lost to Galway last weekend – Darragh Egan replaces Darren Gleeson in goal while Conor O'Brien, Kieran Bergin and Jason Forde are introduced in place of the injured Padraic Maher, Conor Kenny who is ill and Michael Heffernan.

Following three defeats on the trot, another loss at the hands of Anthony Daly's side could leave Tipperary in a relegation play-off.

However, victory over the Dubs could potentially send the Premier County into the quarter-finals.

The Tipp team is:

Darragh Egan (Kildangan);

Paddy Stapleton (Borris-Ileigh), Conor O'Mahony (Newport), Cathal Barrett (Holycross-Ballycahill);

Conor O'Brien (Eire Og Annacarty), Brendan Maher (Borris-Ileigh – Captain), Michael Cahill (Thurles Sarsfields);

Kieran Bergin (Killenaule), Shane McGrath (Ballinahinch);

John O'Dwyer (Killenaule), Noel McGrath (Loughmore-Castleiney), James Woodlock (Drom & Inch);

Jason Forde (Silvermines), Seamus Callanan (Drom & Inch), Patrick Maher (Lorrha-Dorrha)
