Tipperary have given their chances of promotion in the Allianz Football League a huge boost with a 6 point win over Clare in Ennis this afternoon.
The Premier led by 4 points at the break but had the aid of a very stiff breeze in the first half, but made sure they didn't allow the Banner to capitalise on the wind in the 2nd half, with Barry Grogan and Alan Moloney contributing numerous scores.
Hugh Coghlan's goal mid-way through the second half to give Tipp a huge 12 point lead at one stage, and though Clare fought back, the result was never in doubt.
