Tipperary get their Minor Football Championship campaign underway at Semple Stadium this evening.

They’re facing Cork in the Munster quarter-finals.

Tonight’s starting side sees four players retained from last year’s squad.

There are also eight players included from the Under 17 team that beat Clare last week in their first game in the new championship.

The Minor grade is switching from Under-18 to Under-17 from next year and selector David Power says that’s probably a good thing.

Tipp FM will have full live coverage of the game from 7pm this evening.

Also getting underway at 7 are the games between Kerry and Clare at Austin Stack Park and Limerick against Waterford at the Gaelic Grounds.
