A survey has been conducted among the 1,800 members of the Club players Association in Tipperary which has shown that 64% of respondents favour a cessation of the link between the divisional championships and the county championships.
27% were in favour with 8% undecided.
This is at odds with anecdotal reports of club delegates strongly arguing in favour of retention at county board level,
It suggests at the very least a disconnect between delegates and players.
