Sunderland relegated from Premier League

Sunderland are preparing for life in the Championship – after their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed.

They lost 1-nil at home to Bournemouth – with Hull’s goalless draw at Southampton sealing their fate.

Title-holders Leicester are almost certainly safe after a 1-nil win over West Brom.

Burnley managed their first away win in the league this season – with a 2-nil success at Crystal Palace.

Stoke and West Ham finished 0-0.

Leaders Chelsea can put more pressure on second placed Tottenham later – by going seven points clear immediately before their title rivals kick-off.

They’re at Everton, knowing that a point will also secure Champions League football next season.

Spurs have a huge London derby with Arsenal after that match – which will be the last meeting between the two at White Hart Lane.

Manchester City go to second-from-bottom Middlesbrough, but first, Manchester United look to keep up their top four hopes when they host Swansea – who are battling for survival.

Manchester United v Swansea starts at 1200, Tottenham v Arsenal gets underway at 1630, and all the other games get underway just after 2 o’clock.
