Strong showing by North Tipp team in Rás

Eoin McCarthy, riding with the Visit Nenagh.ie North Tipperary team was the leading county rider on yesterdays 4th stage of the An Post Rás.

The longest of the eight stages covered 183 kilometre from Charleville to Caherciveen with ten categorised climbs.

The stage was won by Yellow jersey holder Patrick Blevin of New Zealand with McCarthy a fine 12th.

Visit Nenagh.ie are now up to 3rd in the overall County Team classification.

Stage 5 will take the riders from Caherciveen to Clonakilty – with 5 climbs along the 169 kilometre route.
