Seven games down for decision in Premier League

There are seven games down for decision on the first Saturday of action in the new Premier League season.

The first of those has just kicked off, with Watford playing host to Liverpool at Vicarage Road.

There’s new Phillipe Coutinho for the Reds, but new signing Mohamed Salah starts in attack alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Five more games get going at 3pm.

Champions Chelsea begin their quest for back-to-back titles when they host a Burnley side which includes the likes of Kevin Long, Jeff Hendrick, Robbie Brady, Jon Walters and Stephen Ward.

Elsewhere Crystal Palace take on newly promoted Huddersfield, Everton meet Stoke, Southampton face Swansea and West Brom take on Bournemouth.

The evening game at 5.30 sees Brighton take on Man City, who go into the tie as Premier League favourites.
