Good night for League of Ireland clubs

Seani Maguire was again the star of the show as Cork reached the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

His second half hat-trick secured a 4-2 victory over Levadia Tallinn at Turners Cross for a 6-2 aggregate victory.

Next up for Cork will be the visit of Cypriot side AEK Larnaca.

Graham Burke’s first half goal was enough to see Shamrock Rovers over the line against the Icelandic side, Stjarnan.

Stephen Bradley’s side go through 2-nil on aggregate and will face the Czechs Mladá Boleslav in the second qualifying round.

Derry’s exit was confirmed with another hammering from Midtylland.

The Danes progress 10-2 on aggregate.
