Irish Super Heavyweight champion Con Sheehan has failed to progress to the next round of the Olympic qualifying tournement in Turkey.
The Clonmel man was up against Erhan Muhammed Aci of the host nation in this last chance to qualify for the London Olympics.
The pair were level at 5-5 at the end of the opening round with Aci pulling ahead 11-9 by the end of the second.
It was 17-12 in favour of the Turk at the end of round three with neither boxer scoring points in the final round.
