Last night saw the first of this weekend’s Senior hurling championship games played.
Ballina faced Portroe in Nenagh where it finished up all square on 23 points a-piece.
The final score was Ballina 2-17 Portroe 3-14.
To today’s action, in the Seamus O’ Riann Senior hurling championship, in Group 2 Templederry take on Moycarkey Borris in The Ragg 6pm.
Then there are three games down for decision at half 7.
In Group 1 Roscrea play Newport in Toomevara.
In Group 3 JK Bracken’s face Clonakenny in Templetuohy.
And in Group 4 Holycross/Ballycahill take on Knockavilla Kickhams in Clonoulty.
