Irish coach Tom Tierney says his team are heart broken after their hopes of winning the Women’s Rugby World Cup on home soil came to an end with defeat to France last night.
The French booked their place in the semi finals with a 21-5 victory in UCD
Ireland must now play Australia in a 5th to 8th place play off in Belfast on Tuesday.
