JJ Hanrahan could be on his way out of Munster, and to Premiership side Northampton.
The Irish Times report that the Saints have made the out-half an offer of a contract worth €190,000 a year.
Hanrahan is thought to be frustrated with a lack of game time, with Ian Keatley the preferred choice at number 10 under Anthony Foley.
