Padraig Harrington hit a final round 66 at the Scottish Open in Dundonald to finish on eight under par – taking a share of fourth, alongside England’s Anthony Wall and Ian Poulter.

England’s Callum Shinkwin missed out on his maiden European Tour victory after losing a playoff – pipped into second place by Spain’s Rafa Cabrera Bello – after both finished on 13-under par.

A potential challenge by Paul Dunne failed to materialise, and he finished down the field, at four under par.
