Steven O’ Brien has been impressing during his return to the Tipp senior footballers.
The Ballina clubman spent the last 2 years with the Tipp senior hurlers.
The 23 year old has featured for Liam Kearns side in challenge games his month, and was impressive in their recent win over the Garda College at Dr Morris Park.
Tipp open their National Football League campaign on Saturday week against Cork.
