Munster sneak tight Interpro win over Ulster

Munster have ground out a two-point win over Ulster at Thomond Park.

They’ve won 22-20 to stay on course for the home semi and crush the visitors hopes of making the playoffs.

Scrum-half Angus Lloyd – on loan from Ulster – Keith Earls and Dave O’Callaghan with the Munster tries and Ian Keatley kicking five points.

Lyod and Keatley started the game after Duncan Williams and Tyler Bleyendaal were withdrawn before kick-off, but the South African outhalf came on to kick the winning conversion.

Rory Best and Luke Marshall with the tries for the visitors and Paddy Jackson with the rest.

 

Locally,  Nenagh have stolen a win beating Belfast Harlequins 42 – 38 at home.

Cashel lost away to Malone 45-15.
