Manchester United and City level at top of Premier League

Manchester United and Manchester City are level on points at the top of the Premier League this morning.

United are the leaders, but they dropped points for the first time this season in drawing 2-all at Stoke last night.

They earlier saw City thump ten-man Liverpool 5-nil.

Champions Chelsea are just behind after their 2-1 win at Leicester, and Watford occupy the other Champions League berth following their 2-nil victory at Southampton.

Brighton’s first ever win in the competition was a 3-1 success against West Brom.

Some of the pressure on Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has eased after their 3-nil victory over Bournemouth.

Their north London rivals Tottenham won at Everton by the same scoreline.

In today’s action, Crystal Palace go to Burnley looking to avoid a fourth successive league defeat under new manager Frank de Boer.

Swansea host Newcastle in the later game.
