Liverpool hammer Arsenal while Spurs still chasing a win

Liverpool are up to second in the Premier League – after hammering Arsenal 4-nil at Anfield.

Roberto Firmino (pron: FIR-MEEN-YO), Sadio Mane (pron: MAN-NAY), Mohamed Salah and sub Daniel Sturridge scored the goals.

It means Arsenal have suffered back to back league defeats, and are already six points off the top of the table.

Elsewhere Tottenham are still in search of their first league win at Wembley.

A 92nd minute strike by Chris Wood gave Burnley a 1-all draw, when it looked like Dele Alli’s second half strike was enough for the home side.

In the early afternoon games yesterday Chelsea beat Everton 2-nil, and it finished one-all between West Brom and Stoke.
