Lack of Six Nations Action will Help Munster

Leinster head coach Matt O'Connor thinks that Munster could benefit from being able to retain the services of so many of their players throughout this year's Six Nations.

Paul O'Connell, Conor Murray and Peter O'Mahony were the only Munster players regularly involved in Ireland's Six Nations win, which has led to speculation that there will be an added bite to this Saturday's Rabo Pro-12 derby between the two provinces.

Ahead of the top-of-the-table clash at the Aviva Stadium, O'Connor has revealed that he has some concerns over the fitness of his front-row players.

Jack McGrath remains the biggest doubt with a shoulder injury, while Cian Healy, Marty Moore and Tadhg Furlong are also struggling to be fully fit.

O'Connor has admitted that he would prefer not to risk Healy ahead of next week's Heineken Cup quarter-final away to Toulon, but it appears that McGrath, Moore and Furlong are all unlikely to be fit for this weekend.

The Leinster head coach has admitted that Munster have changed their approach in recent seasons and will have had more time to work on their gameplan in recent weeks.
