Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has issued a hands off warning to Aston Villa over Wes Hoolahan.
Former Norwich boss Paul Lambert is reportedly interested in bringing the Irish international midfielder to Villa Park during the January window.
But Hughton insists that the Dubliner remains an important part of his squad.
Meanwhile, Everton manager Robert Martinez is refusing to comment on reports that the club are close to signing Aiden McGeady.
The Ireland winger is out of contract with Russian side Spartak Moscow at the end of the season and is free to hold negotiations with potential suitors.
