Following a meeting of the Divisions Competitions Control Committee last night the re-scheduled senior hurling decider between Drom & Inch and Upperchurch Drombane has been fixed for October 5th in Holycross with a 3.30 throw-in.
The Mid-Tipp senior football final will open proceedings at 1.30 in a historic occasion as the two finals have never been played on the same day before.
It’s the first time since 1962 that Loughmore Castleiney have not featured in the final – however there will be a representative of last years double county champions on the pitch as Tom McGrath will referee his first senior football final.
