It’s emerged that Hawkeye will be in operation the Tipperary Hurlers’ All Ireland Quarter final against Clare.
Temporary cameras are being installed at the redeveloped Pairc Ui Chaoimh and now look set to be used for Tipp’s game on Saturday week and the weekend’s other tie at the cork venue between Wexford and Waterford.
Up to now only Croke Park and Semple Stadium have had the Hawkeye technology.
