Seamus Power has claimed his first top-10 finish on the PGA Tour.

The Waterford man had a final round 66 to earn a share of 10th place at the R-B-C Canadian Open on 16-under par.

It moves Power up to 126th on the Fed-Ex Cup standings, with the top 125 at the end of the season assured of cards for next year.

Venezuela’s Jhonattan Vegas beat American Charley Hoffman in a play-off to retain the title.
