Rory McIlroy’s disappointing showing at the US Open has resulted in him dropping a place in the latest golf world rankings.
The Northern Irishman is down to 3rd in the world, with Hideki Matsuyama moving up to 2nd behind Dustin Johson.
US Open winner Brooks Koepka is up 12 places to 10th.
