Tipperary’s Fergal Horgan has been confirmed as the chosen referee for the All Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
He’s the first Munster man to referee a final since Waterford’s Michael Wadding took charge of the final in 2010.
It’s the Knockavilla Kickham’s clubman’s first time to referee the senior final – however, he took charge the All-Ireland Minor Hurling final in 2014, All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling final in 2015 and All-Ireland Senior Club Final in 2017.
