The Tipperary Under 21 hurlers are the All Ireland champions for 2018.

A fantastic display saw them overcome a star studded Cork side on a 3-13 to 1-16 scoreline at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick yesterday evening.

An early goal from a penalty by Jake Morris saw Tipp race ahead but Cork responded with a goal by Conor Cahalane ensuring the rebels led 1-9 to 1-7 at the break.

Both sides were in the mix in the second half as a Stephen Nolan goal edged Tipp ahead.

Cork responded with points before a Conor Stakelum goal in added time saw the premier county crowned champions.

After the game Tipp manager Liam told Tipp FM Sport he was elated and absolutely thrilled for his players.
