Tipperary club action takes centre stage

Attention now turns to the Club Senior Hurling Championship with a raft of games down for decision this weekend.

All Senior games are on Saturday evening with the Seamus O’Rian clashes taking place on Sunday.

In group one on Saturday evening near neighbours Upperchurch Drombane and Borrisoleigh meet in Semple Stadium at 7pm while at the same time last years county finalists Kiladangan take on Loughmore Castleiney.

In group 2 Drom Inch and Ballina meet in Cloughjordan as Clonoulty Rossmore and Portroe clash in Dolla. Both games are at 5.30.

Group 3 sees Kilruane McDonaghs clash with Carrick Swans at 7 in Cashel and at the same time it’s the battle of the towns as reigning champions Thurles Sarsfields and Nenagh Eire Óg meet in Templemore at the same time.
Finally in group 4 South rivals Killenaule and Mullinahone clash in Munroe as West Tipp’s Eire Óg Annacarthy take on Burgess in Semple Stadium. Both those games get underway at 5.30.

Sunday sees the Seamus O’Riain games take place with two group one games. Roscrea and Ballingarry meet in the Ragg at 12 and North rivals Newport and Toomevara clash in Nenagh at the same time.

In group 2 Moycarkey Borris and Silvermines meet at 1.30 in the Ragg.

There’s one game in group 3 as Clonakenny and Borrisokane meet in Roscrea at 7pm

Finally in group 4 Knockavilla Kickhams and Lorrha will battle it out in Nenagh at 1.30pm.
