Tipp warned of a Cork bounce back

The Tipp hurlers will have to be on top of their game when they face Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling Quarter final this Sunday.

The Lee-siders travel to Semple Stadium to make amends for a bad loss to Tipp last year.

2016 was a disappointing season for Cork – they were knocked out at the Quarter Final stage of the Munster Championship, and in the second round of qualifiers for the All-Ireland Championship.

Selector Diarmuid O’ Sullivan says Cork had a lot of things to work on, and they’ll have to be better than last year…

Throw-in is at 4 o’clock in Semple Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
