Tipp gunning for revenge against Limerick

Tipperary are under no illusions going into their opening game of the Munster Championship.

William Mahers side face Limerick in the Munster Under 21 quarter final this evening – the winner will face Clare in the next round in July.

Limerick have gotten the better of this group of Premier players as minors previously, so they’re hoping to turn it around this evening.

Tipp Under 21 midfielder Billy McCarthy says they’ll have to keep Limerick’s forwards at bay.

Throw in at the Gaelic Grounds this evening is at 7.30, and we’ll have full live coverage of the game here on Tipp FM in association with A.M. Office and School Supplies Cashel.

Meanwhile Eddie Brennan’s Kilkenny side rallied late-on to beat Westmeath 1-21 to 1-11 at Cusack Park to reach the final of the Leinster Under-21 Championship.

They’ll face Wexford in that decider.

A Cathal Dunbar hat-trick gave them a 3-16 to 1-12 win over Carlow.
