Tipp face into the Munster Minor hurling semi final this Thursday as defending All-Ireland champions.

Their opponents Cork haven’t won a Munster minor title since 2008, and will be out to redeem themselves after a poor second half performance against Tipp in the same stage of the competition last year.

Having had a long lay-off since their provincial quarter final in April, Tipperary will be hoping they’ve addressed any problems from that game.

Manager Liam Cahill says they’ve prepared well for the game.

Throw in on Thursday is at 7.30pm in Semple Stadium, Thurles and we’ll have full live coverage of the game here on Tipp FM.

Clare face Limerick this evening at Cusack Park in the first semi final.
