Relief for Ryan as Tipp progress

Tipperary notched up an impressive tally of 28 points in their All Ireland quarter final win over Clare yesterday.

However Tipp manager Michael Ryan isn’t happy that they conceded 3 goals – two of them in the space of a couple of minutes in the opening half.

28 points to 3-16 the final score which sees Tipp through to the All Ireland semi-finals.

Michael Ryan admits he was relieved when the final whistle went in Páirc uí Chaoimh yesterday.

There’s a south-east derby in the other quarter-final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh this afternoon.

Wexford, who haven’t been to the semi-finals in a decade, face Waterford at 4pm.
