Tipperary need to develop a few more players ahead of another tilt at the Liam McCarthy next year.
That’s according to former Tipp player John McIntyre who’s also managed the Galway senior hurlers.
There have been many calls for Michael Ryan to stay on with his backroom team next year after Sunday’s narrow loss to the Tribesmen in the All Ireland Hurling Semi-final.
But McIntyre says whoever’s in charge will have to work on unearthing a few more rough diamonds to bolster the squad.
