Maher likely to return to the Tipp fold

The chairman of the Tipperary County Board is confident that William Maher will still play a huge role in GAA in the Premier.

The Ballingarry native has stepped down as Under 21 hurling manager after two years in charge.

In that time he took Tipp to a Munster final last year.
