Maher hungry for game time

Tipp senior hurler Brendan Maher says he’s looking forward to the games coming thick and fast this year.

Tipp will begin their League campaign away to Clare at the end of the month and will play an increased number of games with the new Munster championship format.

To prepare, the Premier play their final challenge game against Liam Mellows of Galway tomorrow.

Speaking to Tipp FM Sport at the Tipp Supporters Club launch Brendan Maher said changing the approach to preparation for the games will be important this season.

The Borrisoleigh native says that if there weren’t games every weekend, they’d be training anyway.
